Annual Giving

A major component of Mississippi State University’s private support initiative is the Annual Giving Program. This program allows alumni and friends to make annual contributions. Gifts designated for the “Mississippi State Fund” are used by the university in the areas of greatest need. However, donors may designate their gift to any area of the university they choose to support, such as a specific college or school.

Without the generosity of loyal alumni, parents, and friends on a consistent annual basis, Mississippi State could not be successful in its endeavors. A gift through the MSU Annual Fund touches lives every day and improves the total educational experience for all MSU students - the reason we exist.

The MSU Annual Fund also provides a way for graduates or friends to activate their membership in the MSU Alumni Association. A gift of any amount made through the Annual Fund activates the donor’s membership in the Alumni Association for one year and enables alumni to reap the benefits of active membership.
