The MSU Foundation

The MSU Foundation, Inc. was created in 1962 to attract support for Mississippi State University from private sources. Since that time, the Foundation's mission has been to build relationships between the institution and its donors and prospective donors. It exists solely for the benefit of Mississippi State. The Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that receives, invests and administers private support consistent with the university's priorities and mission. Under the guidance of a board of directors and the university's vice president for development and alumni, the Foundation now administers most of the institution's fundraising activities and endowed funds.
