Noah Berry joined the Mississippi State University Foundation office development team in January 2026. He is the assistant director of development for the MSU-Extension, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Experiment Station. Being an MSU alum, Berry steps into this role with enthusiasm and proven experience.

Before starting this role, Berry worked with an agricultural lending company, financing agriculture across Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. This experience plays a vital role in his position as he works with alumni to help shape their ideas and interests to create a better future for Mississippi and the world.

With a strong personal connection to Mississippi State, Berry shared that the chance to serve in this role is one he’s invested in.

“Having the opportunity to come back to MSU and help the agriculture units is something I am deeply passionate about,” said Berry. “In my current role, I am fortunate to connect with donors, hear their stories about what MSU means to them, and help them discover meaningful ways to give back to the areas they care about most.”

In 2023, Berry graduated from Mississippi State University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences with a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness management and a minor in business administration. As a student, he was head defensive equipment manager for the football team for five seasons. Berry worked with head football coach Mike Leach and had the opportunity to experience many different SEC football traditions.

“We don’t have fans, we have family,” Berry said.

The top-to-bottom connection associated with his enthusiasm and dedication is a defining factor for Berry. It pairs being a fan and being a driving force for development. Agriculture is Mississippi’s largest industry. MSU’s role as a land grant institution positions the university to affect the state’s economy tremendously, and routinely. Berry, in his role brings the related elements together.

“I am proud to be able to play a role in expanding and benefitting the future of this area at MSU and beyond,” Berry said.
